XMAPPER provides an Integrated Development Environment for developing and managing B2B transformations that is fully integrated to the TradeLink b2b Gateway Software  and TradeLink HIPAA EDI Solutions. It provides  the ability  to  create  validate,  convert,  and  manage  XML  schemas  and  XML  files.  TradeLink XMAPPER provides a best-of-class XML implementation platform that combines industry leading XML solutions into a simple and intuitive solution. It is fully integrated into SoftCare’s TradeLink EDI Management system, to allow a company to quickly and efficiently define and manage XML transformations to move EDI files to and to TradeLink to and from business systems.            Xmapper is an Open Standard XML/XSLT based Integrated Development Environment (IDE) used to manage all aspects of a organization's Application Integration to and from EDI, EHR, HL7 and other business documents and file formats.         Xmapper views all data and business documents as "XML" including Databases, XML, EDI, HL7, Flat files and other data formats.    All data descriptions, schemas, transformation rules and processes and kept in a central repository for easy implementation, maintenance and support.

 

Build TLFlatFile Schema- which automatically creates a file definition (Schema) based on the TradeLink Partner Map for all TradeLink flat file formats. This feature combined with Trade Link’s Partner Mapping greatly reduces the effort and complexity of defining partner specific flat file definitions used in transformations to/from TradeLink.

TradeLink  XMAPPER  offers  an  integrated  development  management  approach  for creating and  managing XML schemas, and  XML documents. It allows an end user to quickly define source and target files/database via XML schemas, the transformations to be defined and tested quickly and efficiently.

Tight  integration  to  TradeLink  allows  users  to  quickly  and  efficiently  create  partner specific EDI sourced schemas based on the Document or Partner maps as defined in TradeLink.   The integrated development environment of XMAPPER also provides users with a management console for performing batch validation, conversion, transformation and reporting on schemas, and XML files.  Open  and Portable  Platform  -  Leveraging  open  standards,  XMAPPER  is  portable  and independent   in   both   the   development   and   deployment   of   XML-based   business processes.  XMAPPER’s  design  allows  organizations  to  choose  their  XSLT  style-sheet editor  based  on  their  preference.  This de-coupled approach allows an organization flexibility to use any GUI XSLT editors or to use text editors to create XSLT style-sheets.

This feature combined with TradeLink’s Partner Mapping greatly reduces the effort and complexity of defining partner specific EDI Mailbag file definitions used in transformations to/from Trading Partners.

The design of TradeLink XMAPPER is to provide a solution for managing the definition of files (schemas), data sources (Data Sources), file transformations (Transforms) and processes (Maps) required to receive files in any format and convert them to any format. Its specifically addresses the issues involved converting source files (EDI,  XML, Variable Length  formatted  files, Fixed Length formatted Files or Databases) to target files (EDI, XML, Variable Length formatted  Files, Fixed Length formatted files) while maintaining a consistent audit of the process. Its value is that it greatly reduces the effort required to implement mapping by automatically creating schemas based on TradeLink Partner Maps. XMAPPER is broken into five separate sub-systems.

 

The Mapping Sub-system provides an end user the ability to add, delete and manage Maps (which are a series of transformations required to transform a source file to a target file). The process includes the definition of the Schema Sub-system is used to create, view and maintain file definitions as schemas. These schemas are then used to create maps to convert files. The  Transforms  Sub-System  maintains  the  ‘rules’  to  transform  files  from  one format to another.   The Data Sources Sub-System provides the ability to  define  data  base  JDBC  driver  and  establish  connection  to  a database.
